Templates Are Ruts. Templates Are Routine. A belief that seems unshakable, and if it becomes ingrained in our consciousness, becomes impossible to overcome. We no longer need to think, because we have a template: the belief that the situation cannot change. After all, experience plays a huge role in shaping our consciousness. In the case of a routine-bound person, a single experience or advice from an authority is enough to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Often, we are forced into templates by various kinds of “fortune-tellers.” Unfortunately, they are the true creators of our reality. They are capable of instilling in us a belief in the inevitability of fate. All it takes is nurturing and repeating this belief for it to become our reality. Unfortunately, it is not always aligned with our expectations but is instead imprinted on us due to the psychophysical dysfunction of the “fortune-teller” who wants to take out their frustrations on us.
The word “fortune-teller” should not be understood literally here. A “fortune-teller” can turn out to be someone from our family, friends, or acquaintances. We carry observations and ways of behaving in various circumstances from home and school. We draw examples and patterns from people we consider authorities. Sometimes they are. But only sometimes. Unfortunately, at every step, we are at risk of manipulation and our innate laziness, which justifies the use of templates and the lack of need to look for deeper meaning. This is a forfeit. This is the sin of omission.
And so, we become part of a picture that does not suit us at all, but we give up and justify ourselves, saying that we did everything we could.
