20 years ago a few journalists were invited to sail on SUN – Zbyszek’s sailing yacht. During this cruise the idea of a journalists’ regatta was born. Zbyszek helped to organise the first two events. He wanted to share his passion for the sea with others. The sea has calming attributes as well as teaching us to be humble, to appreciate the power of nature, to be disciplined and consistent. After 20 years the journalists who continue this regatta tradition to this day awarded Zbyszek with a commemorative plaque.
